LESCOTT LEFT OUT

Joleon Lescott has only been featured on a limited number of matches for Manchester City and after months of speculation concerning the future of the English defender, he has confirmed that this will indeed be his last season in Manchester City.

The 31 years old centre-back has a contract that runs up until the end of the current season and he will be remaining with the Premier League club until the contract reaches its final deadline day and after that, he will be leaving Manchester City on a free transfer.

Lescott said, “It is always nice to play. They are not coming as frequently as I would like but when I called upon I like to think I can do a job. Vincent Kompany is a massive player, a massive part of the club. He has got a massive future ahead of him at the club. It has been great playing alongside him for the past five years and it is a shame it is going to come to an end this season.”

While Lescott will be seeing his way out of the club, the 20 years old Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini of the Racing Club is expected to join Manchester City in June.

Bruno Zuculini is only 20 years of age but he has emerged as one of the most promising players to have emerged from the Argentine club in recent times and has already made over 90 appearances for his club despite being so young.

The President of the Argentine side Racing Club, Victor Blanco confirmed the transfer involving Bruno Zuculini to Manchester City.

Blanco said, “Every season Racing puts together a side to battle for the title, and then nothing happens. So we wanted to keep the side and reinforce it, but we have several highly coveted gems from the outside, such as Luciano Vietto, Rodrigo De Paul and Bruno Zuculini – who has already signed an agreement to leave in June to join Manchester City.”
